1. Infrared radiator

The resistance wire is wrapped around the porcelain rod, and the resistance wire generates heat after electrification, so that the temperature of the carbon rod covered by the resistance wire rises (generally not more than 500 ℃), and emits low-frequency long-wave infrared mainly. There are two types of infrared radiators: standing and portable. The power of the standing infrared radiator can reach 600W ~ 1000W, or more.

In recent years, some regions in my country have made far-infrared radiators for medical use. For example, it is useful to use high silicon oxide as a component to make a far-infrared radiator.

2. Incandescent lamps

Various incandescent bulbs of different powers are widely used as infrared light sources in medical treatment. The temperature of the tungsten filament in the bulb can reach 2000~2500℃ after being energized.

Incandescent lamps are used in phototherapy in the following forms:

Vertical incandescent lamps: use incandescent bulbs with a power of 250W to 1000W, and install a metal mesh between the reflectors for protection. Floor-mounted incandescent lamps, commonly referred to as sun lamps.

Portable incandescent light bulbs: use incandescent light bulbs with lower power (mostly below 200W), installed in a small reflector, and the reflector is fixed on a small bracket.

3. Light bath device

It can be divided into two types: partial or whole body irradiation. Depending on the size of the light bath box, 6 to 30 bulbs ranging from 40W to 60W are installed in the box. The light bath box is semi-circular, and a small metal reflector can be added to the fixed bulb in the box. The whole body light bath box should be attached with a thermometer so that the temperature in the box can be observed and adjusted at any time.
